Our Story
Better Health & Wellbeing Hub was founded in 2024 by Hannah Freimanis, who has over 20 years' experience in practicing as a Complementary Therapist and still runs a busy clinic. Hannah has previously been involved in running therapy centres as part of her mother's business, The Alliance Therapy Centre, which was successfully based in Carmarthen for over thirteen years.Hannah is also a tutor for the West Shires School of Complementary Health, teaching a range of modalities with a particular focus on Myofascial Release. Hannah has high standards as a tutor; she encourages and supports her students to work to a highly professional & knowledgeable standard.

Our Vision
We believe it is important to have a professional yet welcoming environment for you to receive treatments, where you feel safe and cared for. We also provide a space where you can find the right therapy and therapist for your individual needs and be safe in the knowledge all the therapists are fully qualified, registered & insured and that your wellbeing is their priority. We feel it is equally important for therapists to feel happy, safe and comfortable in their working space - which is why we understand the importance of having a friendly, well-managed, clean & professional setting for therapists to work from.
Additionally, we champion the importance of bridging the gap between allopathic medicine and complementary healthcare; both fields can work in harmony together, supporting & complementing each other beautifully. The setting at Better Health & Wellbeing Hub strives to support this, providing a professional setting with the added comforts important to, and valued by, clients and therapists alike.

I have volunteered as a complementary therapist within a Carmarthen organisation since 2018.A colleague first introduced me to therapeutic massage over 30 years ago. In 2002, while living and working in New Zealand, I completed a massage course at an ayurvedic college. After returning to the United Kingdom, I qualified as a massage therapist and later went on to successfully qualify in IHM. In 2017, I completed my training as a reflexologist. My previous work experiences highlighted the importance of positive touch and the significant role it plays in nurturing a person and helping them feel more relaxed. These experiences have led me to work as a complementary therapist.
Hello and welcome to my counselling profile.Life can be difficult at times and problems rarely occur in isolation from other life events that may be current for us. Life challenges are often opportunities for personal growth and positive change. However, such challenges can seem more like crises when we do not feel we have the tools to deal with them effectively.I believe that we all have within ourselves the ability to face these challenges and to make our choices; we sometimes just need a bit of help along the way.Areas I can help with:
I work with people over the age of 18 to address a wide variety of issues, including and not restricted to: Anxiety ~ Depression ~ Grief and Bereavement (including pregnancy loss) ~ Menopause ~ Work-related stress ~ Pre and postnatal anxiety and depression ~ Birth/perinatal trauma ~ Health issues ~ Adapting to life transitionsAs an experienced, BACP Accredited counsellor, I will work alongside you, offering empathy and a non-judgemental environment where you can explore the issues you are facing. I will listen, offer coping strategies and techniques and together we can formulate a plan for moving forward and getting you back to feeling more like yourself.TBR 3 Step Rewind for Birth/Perinatal TraumaAs a counsellor with a background in gynaecology nursing, I have spent the last 30 years working in the arena of women’s health. I am passionate about perinatal mental well-being and supporting women and their partners through all stages of pregnancy and beyond, including offering therapeutic help with birth trauma experiences.Trauma is a unique experience. It’s really important to acknowledge that individuals will encounter trauma in different ways, so even if your birth or other perinatal experiences wouldn’t necessarily be ‘classified’ as traumatic from a medical perspective, if you felt unsafe, unsupported, disappointed or communication was poor, that can have a continued impact on how you feel, even if the outcome was ‘positive’.I work with clients who:
• have had a difficult fertility journey.
• have low mood and/or anxiety during or after pregnancy.
• have experienced perinatal/birth trauma.
• have suffered a pregnancy loss at any stage.
• have experienced a difficult postnatal adjustment to parenthood. The 3 step Rewind is a gentle approach to helping clients process their experience and is offered as a stand-alone therapy or as part of a wider piece of therapeutic work. The 3 step technique works by separating the memory from the difficult emotions attached to it, allowing you to step into parenthood free from the trauma responses that you may still be living with. It involves a combination of guided visualisation, deep relaxation and the Rewind technique. For further information, please visit my website.Next StepsI offer a free initial 15-minute phone or Zoom call, which is an opportunity for us to ‘meet’ and make sure we are a good fit to work together. It’s really important that you feel comfortable with the counsellor you choose; feeling able to open up in your sessions will help you to achieve a positive outcome. This initial meeting will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about counselling and how we might work together.• Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £55.
• TBR 3 Step Rewind takes place over 3 sessions and costs £180, payable in 3 instalments if required.A Bit about Me
My counsellor training began alongside my nursing career when it became clear that patients often needed much more than the practicalities of medical assistance and care. I gained my MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy as a Means to Health in 1999, graduating 6 weeks after the birth of my daughter. After almost 10 years of working night shifts as a nurse while my children grew, I began my private practice in 2008. Alongside this, I also volunteered as a bereavement counsellor at a children’s hospice and a student counsellor at a university.Since then, I have continued to learn and grow as a practitioner, with regular continued professional development courses. I have also achieved a Diploma in Bereavement Counselling and become a Birth Trauma Practitioner. I am passionate about providing a professional yet personable counselling service to my clients and have enjoyed working with clients aged from 18-86! I firmly believe it’s never too late or too early to seek the help you might need along your journey.

Treatment options:Myofascial Release (MFR)
Myofascial release is a hands-on therapy designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility by easing tension in the fascia, a delicate network that supports our muscles, bones, and organs. By applying slow, consistent pressure, therapists promote flexibility and suppleness in the fascia, adjusting the intensity to suit individual comfort levels. This therapy effectively addresses a range of conditions, including frozen shoulder, TMJ disorder, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, headaches, pelvic floor disorders and sports injuries, while also improving posture and increasing range of motion. As a safe, all-natural treatment, myofascial release harnesses the body's ability to heal itself, making it an ideal holistic option for those seeking relaxation, balance, and overall well-being.Myofascial Release
(Myofascial Cupping - as part of MFR or Massage)
Cupping therapy is an ancient treatment method originating from Eastern China and Africa, designed to relieve pain and tension in the body. This technique involves applying plastic cups to areas of musculoskeletal tension, using suction pressure to create a gliding motion over the skin or placing cups on specific trigger points to alleviate discomfort. By enhancing blood flow and reducing localized acute and chronic tension, cupping therapy provides an effective solution for restoring balance and promoting overall well-being.Functional Facial
Experience ultimate relaxation with a Functional Facial treatment. This innovative therapy transcends traditional facials, effectively addressing head, neck, and face ailments while providing deep tranquility. Combining myofascial release, acupressure, massage, and face-lifting techniques, the Functional Facial rebalances energy, relieves tension, and rejuvenates your entire being. Discover a new level of relaxation today - this therapy can help relieve headaches, TMJ disorders, teeth clenching, eye strains and facial tension.Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that fosters deep relaxation and overall well-being. By alleviating stress, it plays a vital role in enhancing health and building resilience. This touch therapy is grounded in the principle that specific points on the feet, or hands, correspond to various areas of the body, and reflexology stimulates these points to promote healing. Reflexology offers clients a dedicated time for relaxation, characterized by personalized attention and nurturing touch within a compassionate setting. This therapy can be safely integrated with conventional healthcare practices to support improved health outcomes. My fees are consistent across all my work, supporting clarity and continuity for clients.

Follow on treatments 60mins - £55.If you're not sure what treatment is right for you, I am happy to talk it through with you and help advise on what I think will benefit you most. I'm also happy to combine treatment modalities, to suit your individual needs. Get in touch here.A Bit About Me
I have worked as a holistic therapist for over 20 years. At 18, I studied a Holistic Therapies diploma, learning multiple therapies including Swedish massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I went into practice as soon as I qualified and a few years, I later trained in Remedial Massage (now known as Sports Massage) and thus began my passion for muscles and treating them. I have worked for many years developing my skills, knowledge and experience in Sports Massage. After having children and experiencing some health issues, I began researching Myofascial Release and the vast benefits of it - this led to my training in Myofascial Release in 2019 and a new passion was born. I run a busy clinic specialising in chronic conditions providing tailor made treatments to suit the individual. I have also developed my own therapy, the Functional Facial in 2022, a facial treatment focused on providing a treatment that will help relieve symptoms that present in the head, face and neck, whilst also focusing on deep relaxation.I am a tutor for West Shires School of Complementary Health where I teach a few modalities, including Myofascial release and my Functional Facial treatment.I have been a part of running wellness centres most of my career also, as a part of my mothers' therapy centre, The Alliance Therapy Centre and I continue my mothers' drive to provide a professional therapy centre for clients to access complementary and alternative therapies in a professional and calming setting.
